FINAL LAP

Runners A, B, C were given batons to start and finish the race with in a championship marathon to win the ultimate prize. C, A, and B finished the race off 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Later, a discovery was made and it appeared that,
C who finished in 1st place with his baton intact used an illegal drug to enhance his speed.
A also placing 2nd used a short cut and misplaced his baton. With all the sweat and toil from his physical strength, B was placed 3rd with his baton.
Who do you think the ultimate prize should be given to?

It's the final lap and we are running a fever just a few meters to reaching the finish line to finish the race but then:

Would you end up finishing 1st by losing your integrity and claiming to finish the race with God (the baton) as runner C did?
Or like runner A who took shorter paths to achieve what he wanted and leaving the God he serves behind, would you follow his footsteps?
Or are you genuinely going to imitate runner B who took it upon himself to live for God and keep his integrity even after he realized that he was going to be last?
It's not about how fast or slow you want to finish this race of life but your finishing at the end of it really matters.

Just so you know it, there's no discovery in the sight of God. Hence let's put it upon ourselves to finish this life with all integrity and righteousness as so to gain the ultimate prize God has for us.
If you are willing to run the race of this live with all righteousness, the Bible says;
Yes You can because I the Lord will help you ; Judges 6:16.
And in 1 Thessalonians 5:23
May God give you peace and keep you holy in every way that your whole being - spirit, soul and body will be free from every fault in the coming of the Lord Jesus.
Amen!

  2. That we may say

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.

  3. Galatians 6:7-8 King James Version (KJV)
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. (Ps 18:36)

Trust in the training and process of the lord
