LISTEN UP

In 2nd Samuel 5:23 ,it says, once more David consulted the Lord. He said Lord the philistines have gone back to occupy the valley so shall I attack them, and the Lord answered him with two brief instructions to follow, 

1. Don't attack them from here but go round and get ready to attack them from the other side, 

2. When you hear their sound of marching then you attack because I will be marching ahead of you to defeat the philistine army. 

And the Bible said David did what God had commanded and he was victorious. 

Beloved, in any situation you find yourself will you ask God and listen to his direction carefully? I don't know what you want to do or where you want to go but will you be like David as he listened carefully to instructions? 

Just imagine what would have happened to David's army if he didn't bother to ask God about what to do. And after he asked God, don't you think he would have been defeated if he missed a step and didn't listen carefully to instructions?

Dear Family, Do have a personal relationship with The Lord Jesus, ask Him for his directions and listen carefully to what he says to you and it is our prayer that as we journey in this new year, 

May God bless us with a wholehearted desire to obey everything that He commands us to do as written in 1 Chronicles 29:19a.
