A Wait At the Gallery.

There are moments when we sit in silence,

not because we have nothing to say,

but because we are waiting on God to come through for us—

whether in a breakthrough, a healing,

a miracle, or a blessing, our thoughts revealed,

A wait in anticipation, our speech to the Artist (God)

Dear Artist,

Show me, that the times I tried to keep up with you

will not be in vain.

We have heard your story,

we know what you did for others,

we saw their gallery.

I know you have our pictures,

but show us the bigger part of it—

show us your canvas.

We know you draw,

but tell us the type of paint you have mastered.

Reveal the colors you have chosen—

will it be red or white?

I am waiting for my painting,

portrait or landscape,

I am waiting at the gallery.

I am not giving up on us,

though I may grow weak again.

You know it is hard for me

to come back stronger,

but I don’t want to lose my strength.

I have my brush,

with it, I silhouetted an image of myself.

Does it match with yours?

On my canvas I choose to use blue—

what did you choose too?

What did you draw at all?

Have a look,

can you see?

Did I draw the same thing?

Even if I did,

I know you draw better.

Show it to me, let me see,

as I tell the world who you truly are—

the best artist indeed.

A wait at the gallery…  The End.

Dear Brethren, indeed as it says in Lamentations 3:24,

The LORD is all we have, and so we put our hope in him.

Regardless of how long you are waiting, let's be encouraged

to keep our hopes alive for the Good Lord is good to those

who trust in him, [Lamentations 3:25]

Hallelujah Amen. Embrace 🥂

Part 2 follows after.
